It takes the name of Adventure and reinforces the adventurer side of the Yaris Cross with specific design elements.

A more adventurous model than the “classic” Yaris Cross

Its front face, in particular, has been revised to show more robustness . There is also a skid plate under the rear bumper, silver-colored roof rails and 18-inch alloy wheels in a dark gray finish.

On board, this renewed personality is underlined by black lacquered trim elements and a black headliner. The wraparound imitation leather seats benefit from a specific design and a golden color line extends from the dashboard to the storm doors to add a touch of refinement and originality.

Always 100% hybrid

Less novelty on the other hand under the hood since like all Yaris Cross, this “Adventure” version will be powered by a hybrid engine combining a three-cylinder 1.5L petrol unit and a 59 kilowatt electric motor powered by a lithium-ion battery for a total power of 116 horsepower . All in two or four-wheel drive (intelligent all-wheel drive AWD-i).

Reservations open in April

Manufactured at the Toyota plant in Valenciennes-Onnaing , in the North of France, the new Toyota Yaris Cross will be available for online reservation at the beginning of April 2021 . First in the “Adventure” version and with the limited launch “Première” series.

Offered during the first twelve months of marketing, the latter will be particularly well equipped since it will receive as standard equipment specific 18-inch alloy wheels, leather upholstery, a motorized tailgate with hands-free opening, a head-up display, a panoramic roof , an 8-speaker JBL audio system and semi-autonomous parking aid.
