Mercedes’ next utility vehicle is unveiled in an electric version: discover the e-Citan under its camouflage.
Mercedes-Benz previewed the upcoming eCitan with official camouflage photos. The German car manufacturer is developing, with the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance , the second generation of the Citan , which should be based on the same platform as the Renault Kangoo that we know in France.
A 100% electric version
Overall, the all- electric variant of this Citan should be identical to the thermal models, with one exception: the three-pointed star badge on the front can be opened and it houses the charging port .
Although not easily seen in these photos, previous images of the e-Citan’s prototypes have confirmed that it will have stylish headlights with integrated LEDs, circular fog lights, sliding rear doors and vertical tail lights. .
