The new Hyundai i10 has just tested its level of safety through the Euro NCAP box. For what result? Check out his crash test scores …
While the new Land Rover Defender and the latest Seat Leon shone in their recent Euro NCAP crash test , the same is not necessarily true of the small Hyundai i10 .
Three stars only
While the British 4×4 and the Spanish compact collected the maximum score of 5 stars on all the tests carried out, the South Korean city car only obtained three small stars.
The model received ratings of 69% for adult protection, 75% for child protection, 52% for the protection of vulnerable road users and 59% for safety aids.

Signs of weakness
The new i10 notably showed signs of weakness in front passenger protection during frontal crash tests (with a rigid barrier across the width and with an offset deformable front movable barrier). Its autonomous emergency braking system has proven to be moderately effective in protecting pedestrians. It is also not provided with a cyclist detector.
